Hey guys... this is my first post, but i'm looking at gettin a maxima and i found what seems to be a good deal. Someone let me know if this seems reasonable? it's a '95 GLE auto w/ 62,000 miles. It's loaded w/ leather and sunroof and spoiler and the works! I checked it out and it's a BEAUTY in great shape. They only want $9,800 for it. Does this seem reasonable and if not what should it go for. I'm looking to spend under 10 grand also if anyone knows any other 4th generations for sale!! Thanx guys i appreciate any responses.

It is an average deal. I would look for a price closer to $8K but if you are anything like me when you find a car you really like you are going to get it regardless of any advice. Personally I would not get it because I don't like an auto but if you like it buy it...it is not a really bad price. You probably should get it checked out by a mechanic first though, then deduct any the price to repair any problems or let him fix them first. Most cars have a little something wrong with them or the person would not have wanted to get rid of it. Good luck.

Get a '95 Superblack SE (sport edition). If you are the slightest enthusiasts get 5spd while you still can. Otherwise get the cruise-o-matic either way you will be fast. And yes the price needs to come down on that to make it anything better than a so-so deal.

That is relatively low miles, and if in great shape, that is a reasonable price. You probably can get it down by $500 or so. YOu still should figure in some $$$ you will need to spend for the 60k mile maintenance servicing.
