97 foglights troubleshooting

i went to the junkyard the other day and found a maxima whos year wasnt easily identifiable(missing mad ****), but it had a stalk for foglights and a good relay. so i snatched these and went home and installed the stalk. put the relay in, put a 15w fuse in, hook up a foglight and, nothing. wtf gives? arent these supposed to be plug and play? the stalk works fine as far as headlights, blinkers, and high beams. but the foglights do nothing.

my question is, if it isnt a 97 i got the stalk from could that be why they arent working? the steering column on the car at the junkyard had the same amount and types of wire harnesses that plug into the stalk

did u hook the lil conector on the stalk to the one taped up its a lil white 2 prong connector. that is on the stalk the other end is taped up in the wires under the steerin wheel cover that 2 prong conecctor is the fog light wire

that connector wraped in foam is the fog wire other end should be wraped in tape under the the cover of the steering wheelin that nas of wires

THIS^^

Also check the bulbs. When I pulled my old fogs from the JY, i couldnt for the life of me figure out why they wouldnt come on. I eventually checked them with a 12v drill battery and nothing. Checked the bulbs, they were toast

i forgot to say that i went out and bought a new bulb too lol. so yeah not the bulbs, but that first post seems to be my problem. that white harness wrapped in foam was not on the stalk. the black wire that leads to it was there but it leads to nothing. it didnt even seem like it was cut. oh well guess i gotta get a new one.
