Hey guys I have a 95 maxima white in color with around 108k on car,engine,and I was told 60k on the tranny.It has a brand new battery,windshield,rear struts,brakes in the front,battery,right side ball joints,headers/y pipe/high flow cat from custom maxima waiting on the cat back aswell didnt order it yet the car has some rust on the rear wheel wells and rocker panels the car does run great engines pretty clean I also have good tires 2 complete sets 1 set is nissan 18 inch wheels other is stock fully loaded maxima just wondering what i should do about this car I hate looking at it the rust is really bothering me and need some help on a price to sell it I want it gone so I can get something better that needs no body work I can take and upload some pics tomor to show you guys what it looks like and maybe I can get a price quote I would appreciate it alot it also has a clean title leather seats,moon roof.

 

not going to get much for it better off donating it to me and get a tax write off or part it out thats where u will get the most money

 

Search the area for other Maximas and see what they go for but around here Maximas are dime a dozen so you'd get around $2K tops.

 

list it at $2500, see what u get.

dude list it for what u think is fair an see how it goes but u said its rusted so thats going to be a factor in price

Itd help if you posted pics of it but $2500 sounds about right.

 

it has such low miles ...get the body work done...find someone that will cut out the rust and weld in new steel for you.......i just had mine done for 600 bucks and im very happy with it....however now i am having to get 5 speed trans rebuilt 1450$ but i do plan to keep the car for a while...glws....

I am really unsure of a price why i am asking here I wanna know str8 from the pros but I got pics im going to be uploading them here soon in this thread and then maybe I can get a good idea, I mean other then the rust the car runs fantastic its mostly all towards the back wheel wells and I am seeing it on the rocker panels but cannot find anywhere to get maxima rocker panels.

 

Let it go for $1,500...I always sell my cars cheaper than normal, A.) What gos around comes around, give a deal now, to get a deal later...B.) It will sell alot faster.

hey man i aint going to lie thats alot of rust man if i were u i would part it out you will get alot more money for it that way unless the person wants to buy it can fix rust u can part it out on here theres a section for that 4th gen classified

 

By your description, the car sounds like it's pretty sound but due to the rust you probably couldn't get more than $1500. If possible, sell the things like the headers/y pipe and the set of 18 inch wheels separately to get more $ back.

 

Its kinda my everyday driver I do like the car it runs excellent its just the body work thats ahead of me I really don't know what to do about fixing it all I can't even find rocker panels for it or anything else I wanna find me a 4 door neon or a 2 door cavi.Gas is a killer so the trucks are way too much right now I have to drive about 35-40 mins to go shopping.

 

naw man...get a cavalier. I had one of those. It was a POS but i kept it clean and it never let me down. I loved that car. lol

F**k a neon! word. That bish will leave u stranded one day in teh middle of nowhere. HAd one of these too and i will never buy another one again.

O and yur max got a lot of rust man. Seriously brings down the value. Prolly get 1200 for it. If the body was good then 2000 bucks easy.

 

I might post it on craigslist tonight see what kind of offers I get.

 

not worth selling you might get around 1800 to 2000 if you are lucky but more like 1500 because of the rust, why don't you paint it instead and keep it, just save more money to buy a second car

 

nenons are ****, cavaliers are worst, get a sentra or a celica sta away from american, btw if you still want a neon get the srt its the only one worth something

 

You people are insane, I wouldnt even pay $500 for that car. Not trying to be a jerk, but IMO, youd be lucky to get ANY interest

 

maybe you would not pay 500 cause you sound like someone who thinks everyone elses stuff isn't worth **** until you own it the engine alones worth over 500 and the tranny that has 60k on it not to mention brand new struts,brakes,gas tank,kn intake,2.5inch exhaust,headers,and 2 extra sets of tires one sets on 18s others on stock whats on car now and then a brand new set on no rims sitting in my garage and I don't wanna pay much for another everyday driver i already have 2 trucks just wanna cheap everyday driver thats good on gas that doesn't have rust but screw it I might aswell take it to my friends school and have them do it all for 3-500 it would be a project for them to learn with

and man if i could afford it and it was 5 spd id take it off your hands i miss the hell outta mine..i went from wanting 300zx's 240's and 350's then i got the max i admire that car and the thing saved my life in my accident i feel i should be dead

 

Good call, my buddy is gonna have his rusted acura EL worked on at his college aswell.. Theyre doing it for free, so its probably gonna look like crap, but at least the rust will stop lol. And btw, I had a rusted out 95 white maxima, and sold it for $600 and I'm lucky I got that. I'm just giving you an opinion through a non-maxima owners eyes.


And you people are still insane, thats some serious cancer happening to the car, if left alone that quarter panel will be gone in a year.. $2000? LOL
