what do guys think as far as absorbtion, tokico's, kyb's, or koni. H&r, eibachs, or sprint? looking for something to lower the car,get a good suspension, but not kill the ride totally. what combo do you guys think?

go for the kyb-agx/h&r springs. this will give you a good ride and lower your car a good amount.

From softest to most harsh ride quality springs: H&Rs (1.3-1.4" drop) ---->B&Gs (1.7-1.8" drop)------>Eibachs(1.3-1.4" drop)------> Sprints (1.7-1.8" ??? drop)
there are also other kinds of springs available for the 4th gen maxima, like Progressive, Intrax or Dropzones? i don't know how much they lower the car, I think the Intrax are the lowest though, but the ride quality is best with H&Rs and B&Gs, H&Rs are just not as low, but low enough for you to have less worries about scraping driveways and bottoming out.... it also depends on your price range... same goes for Struts/shocks.. KYB GR2 is the cheapest, then the Tokicos (i think).. KYB AGX are adjustible in comfort, and are more expensive like 380-400$, then come the KONIs, also adjustable but i think even more pricey, although are probably the best struts...

I say go Koni and sprint nice look, now for comfort and not noticeable drop then B G drop. I personally dislike the large fenderwell gap it just looks plain nasty on 4th gen maximas thats my opinion.

KYB AGX is definately the strut to get. Konis are nice too but the install isn't as easy and straight forward as with the KYB struts.
Tokico's seem to have a high failure rate. A simple search on this board will confirm that.

As far as springs go, H&R are the best riding, the drop looks nice and even. They make the car look sort of how it should have looked if it were designed correctly. With a nice even fender and wheel height. They ride good too. My sig is with H&R's installed you can see the drop real nice.
