A/C Compressor Suggetstions

Hey guys,

My OE A/C compressor went last year and after trying to swap a pulley with no luck and noise, I am going to bite the bullet and buy a new compressor.

Has anyone had luck with aftermarket units? If so, what was it and where would you get it? I know the 4th gens had 3 different compressors from 95-99 so finding a junkyard one might be tricky.

Thanks,
Matt

Yes, it is a bit tricky. For your car, someone correct me if I am wrong, the 00-01 compressors will fit a 99. I need to change my bearing and don't know where to get the bearing since AZ no longer sells them. I also need the clutch removal tool to get it off without bending it.

Hey, if you happen to need a bearing size 46x62x24, I've got one laying around. I bought the wrong size last year. I bought mine from Houston Bearing. Google for the website.

Thats the compresor I have on my 99. But thats not my bearing size. Mine is 35x55x20. Make sure you measure it before you waste money buying the wrong one.
