Throttle position sensor could easily be your issue. Make sure your car is in go running order first.

Go with the Fidanza. Yes the Stillen will be just a bit lighter when fully assembled but the replaceable friction inserts on the Fidanza are cheaper and easier to source.

I know this is late but I don't notice a huge difference with my Fidanza as compared to stock. If you like rev matching it's a little nicer than stock. Other than that I don't notice much difference. Never had any launching issues with it.

Cool, so driveablilty should be fine.

Ok so some one help me here:

Fidanza is 12 lbs. Ring gear is included with flywheel.
Stillen is 5 lbs lighter than stock. Need to reuse stock ring gear. Total weight?
Stock is ???? lbs?

Dont you have to reuse the stock timing ring gear (or some kind of ring gear lol) on the fidanza as well?

Ive owned both.
The Stillen weighed in at 7lbs naked, once thering gears were attached it was about 10lbs... maybe a tad bit more.
