Removing door bumper molding "Questions"

I have searched and like the look but i cannot find one where the groove has NOT been filled in. Has anyone seen or removed it and left the groove on the doors? Also did you regret doing this? THANKS..

Painting car soon and need to make a decision...

The grey one is perfect aside from the handles .. the white one is what I kept getting on searches with the line filled in... the grey has the line on the doors... I like it thank you!

np, wish i had better pictures for you.. ones that were not so close up and maybe from a side view..

I considered this as well,.. i just didnt know if it made the door seem to big..

If you do it can you post picks! The above pics are both from the org but i dunno if they are active members.

I wouldnt have those lines shaved unless you knew a very reputable shop to do it. Its very tedious work and if not done right youll have a big body mess.
