I've heard of people using black to make their cutoff sharper. I actually think a light color like that might do the opposite but these projectors don't have super sharp cutoff to begin with. My cutoff didn't get sharp until I added 3" ZKW-R clear lenses spaced 6mm.

And the light will not be tinted but you will still see yellow at the same angles you see when the lights are off.

Hmm since its yellow and the term "angel eyes" is taken, maybe call yours "Valkyrie Eyes"?

Demon Eyes are the color inside the projectors

Angel Eyes are the halos around the projectors

With all that work, I would definitely put some real HID projectors in there. Nowadays, a good set can be had for under $100. I guess highbeams aren't a priority for this retrofit?

Im going with low beams only, theres no point on using highs if Im running HID's. There will be plenty of light

Also... NEW PICS ON 1st PAGE!!!!

Thanks man, yea i was surprised at how bright they were. It blew my mind. Definitely worth the 30 bucks. The wiring harness is crazy simple too,

Im not to sure of the actual angle. What I did was set the housings on the car and take a ruler, lay it on top of the rad support bar and use that as a guide. So I drew lines that were parallel to the rad support bar on the housings and will angle the projectors according to those.

I hope that made sense.

They've been a work in progress for a long time man lol Just finished them recently. PM me and we can talk fasho.

Andrew, I'd run those wires off the top of the projector. I think it'll look much cleaner that way. Also, if you put eyelids again the little part that isn't connected on the ring won't be seen.

I wont be using the eye lids. And I forgot to tell you that I painted the little white rubber parts of the halos, as well as like 5 inches of the wire black, so itll blend with the housings

I got it covered lol

Since you're not gonna throw the eyelids on, take the eyelids off the corners and bake them apart to AE them. Then remove the LED's in the upper bumper grilles and get some OEM fogs. Bake open the fogs to AE them then throw some Lexus fog capsules in there. Your front end will be sooooooooooo sexy.

You dont know how much I want OEM Fogs but theyre so expensive. As for the Corner lights, I was thinking about smoking them maybe.

They are expensive and can be hard to find, especially in good condition. If I find a full set again with brackets I'll let you know. I should also have some ES300 fog projectors that I can retro in there for ya if you'd like.

AE the corners don't smoke em. AE'd they match your retro perfectly.

The housing is blacked out, sorta. The reflector still stays chrome. But the edges and everything inside are black

Id ask you to take a pics of it now but I know a cam wont be able to capture the look like the human eye could.

And a point and shoot should be ok

There ya go! Don't worry, when you decide to get ZKW-R clear lenses with the 6MM spacers (gotta ask TRS for the "big boy spacers") you'll get this:

That's with 35W 6000K's like you'll be running. Plus, they help with overall output and intensity.
