Can you post pics of the top of the light so I can see how you got that lens to fit on? That was quite a feat.

I need to re tint the corners, didnt come out how I wanted. I used VHT NightShade. Its a spray tint. After 24 hours of spraying you sand it and go over with polishing compound to make it seem glossy and nice. I screwed it up a little lol. I did the same with my turn signals, those came out great.

I still think its not much of a difference as long as you buff the nightshade nice and polish it after you sand it. But to each their own.

Hey guys, do the J30 projectors fit in a 97-99 Maxima?
And sorry if this was asked already but how did you get the angel eyes to rest against the edge of the J30 PJs? Once I get a Max I'll be trying out a quad-projector/angel eye retro-fit. So far the J30 PJs look like the best choice, instead of buying 4 new projectors. After seeing how awesome painting the projector housing can be, I would paint mine blue or purple.

Yes, the projectors will fit in a 97-99 max.

I have a projector shroud mounted over the projectors to hide them, that is what i mounted the angel eyes onto.

I would advise against running the J30 Quad setup, the j30 high beam projectors are crazy big, I think the only person to do this succesfully in stock housings was ChrisMan. He's a god when it comes to retrofits.

If you want todo a quad setup I'd look into getting HID projectors off of theretrofitsource.com, or if you wanted to go the J30 route, buy some r34 headlights and retrofit into those.

If you need any help let me know.

Are those the g35 coupe rims? Ive got the sedan rims, sorta want to paint them gold. I painted my calipers yellow, and I think the yellow demon eyes match the calipers perfect. Gives just enough color to contrast the black car.

Just google OEM replacement headlights and you can find a set of 97+ lights for like 80 bucks. Tear those apart and get retrofitting

They turned out very nice. How much would you charge to do this again and sell them to me? Also, how do you aim your headlights? My drivers one is slightly higher then my passenger one (When aimed at a wall, you can see the difference)

Hey thanks!

So, unfortunately... I'm not in the buisness to do custom builds. I'm currently in college and have nowhere to work/no extra time.

You can do it yourself pretty easily, it takes time but myself and ChrisMan would be here to help with anything.

That being said, ChrisMan does build custom lights for people and charges a reasonable price.

Aiming the headlights requires I think an 11mm socket wrench... Cant remember the size. BUT, notice the two prongs sticking out of the back of the light into the engine bay? One of them when turned by a socket adjusts left/right and the other up/down. Trial and error and youll figure out which is which.

Everything you said was correct except for the aiming thing lol They're 8mm not 11mm.

Theyre the Oculars. Buy the "value" shrouds no matter which you get b/c it saves you money and the imperfections on them arent visible to the eye unless you look for them.

Also, I did custom cut my shrouds with a dremel, thats why they may look different.
