Bose speakers the same all around???

Just blew the back right speaker out and was wondering if i can switch the front one and put it to the back? I know they are all 6 1/2 but just wanna be sure before going through pointless labor.

Oh maybe I should post a wtb post in the parts for sale for some speakers he he. Hmmm....maybe just go all aftermarket....x-mas killing a brother right now. Anyways....some advice and answers needed...thanx.

6x9 in the back? I thought the 3rd gens had them in the back not the 4th gens. I have a 95.

For my 95 its 6.5 all around. I just had some of my bose repaired because of some damn sunroof leak. For a new front speaker and amp it was $150..... The design for the speaker and housing is different for the front and back. The front is more spread out while the back is all stacked. I dont think switching them would work very well.

Why do you want to switch a good front speaker to the back anyways? You'll still need to get a new speaker/amp.
