Newbie to the Maxima

Hey guys, so im new to modding a maxima... though this is my first maxima, this is def not my first time modding cars. I was given this car by a family member as my new DD but it will be needing alot of work. In the week that i have owned it, i have already started on the mod list though this one should hopefully be somewhat low key compared to my weekend wheeler.

Well im hoping i will learn alot from u guys since i love forums and the relationship and bond gained by the knowledge and friendliness that is accompanied with it.

Just thought id let yall know what i worked on prior to the new maxima i acquired. I have a 2002 toyota 4runner that is lifted and fully built by me so that it can be wheeled (offroad/mud), and an expo and camping rig.

4runner Profile:
xskydivingdudex's 02 Sport - YotaTech Forums

Maxima Mods So Far:
- Retrofitted 2 10" Alpine type-E subs into a 12" downfire ported sub box

- Retrofit of a Toyota Paseo spoiler

- Blue LED footwell lights

- Adding Alpine CDA-9884 with ipod

- CB radio with PA (mounted in center console)

why wouldnt you just get a box for 10" subs? and why wouldnt you put a spoiler in better condition on there?

Those 10's will probably hit harder in that box. And whats wrong with the spoiler? Its just dirty...

Welcome to the community!! An don't worry about what others say, in the end it's what you like, your money an time! I'm sure you have been thru it with the 4runner but I do have to agree with brOnz, get all the general maintenance done. An I think he used that box an spoiler cause it's what he had to work with

After general maintenance--next step would be to ditch those rusty steel rims (or the one I see anyway), and give her a bath!

ya i finally gave it a bath this past weekend... ive been swamped with work. Ya i wasnt sure bout doing it the way i did but i figured its not bad since i was given the car for free.

The reason for the spoiler and the retrofit on the sub box is bc im trying this car light on the wallet. I had these things laying around in the garage so jsut tried to add a little something without having to fork over a bunch of money.

I hate the hubcaps and plan to change them out soon and still trying to look into which lower kit and wat not to get since my other vehicle is the complete opposite.

I am in San Antonio, TX... and thnx for the wlecomes guys, im sure ill learn alot from u guys. Ive been lurking the site for a while now and have been admiring alot of cars on here.

Well thought id show yall some pics of my 4runner... this thing has been fully built by me and ive put alot of money into it and since im only getting about 15-16mpg, the maxima was picked up to be my DD.

I like what you did, it's different and I can admire the craftsmenship on that box. Welcome to the Org. One piece of advice I will give you is don't take what people say on here to heart. Haters gon' hate.
