got a question regarding burned cds...how to i play them o.o

i remember seeing something about how depending on the cd/file type/burning software certain burned cds won't play...and sure enough when i tried to play a burned cd i just got "err" on the display. what are the requirements to play one?

Burned CDs use a different mechanism to store data. A regular stamped CD has pits in a metallic coating, which deflect the laser and indicate the value of bits. A burned CD uses a system akin to pigment to darken a coating, which does not deflect but instead absorbs the laser. This is less effective than the pits in a stamped CD, so older CD players / CD players in poor condition have a hard time reading burned discs.

the thing that makes it so that you cant play burned cd's sometimes is that it makes it an "mp3" cd. i know itunes asks you what type of cd you want to make. you just want to make a regular audio cd. The cd player in ur car was created before mp3's were so it cant read that file format. Eventhough all music is basically in mp3 format on ur computer, it can still be be burned into a regular audio disc, just like you'd buy in the store

Hey man not sure if you fixed the squeeking but mine started doing it this winter and I kinda knew it was the strut mount, so I waited and changed the mount, struts and springs at the same time since it all has to come out to be changed. hope i helped. Good luck on everything else!
