We would prefer it thin too, but not too thin that it will break easily. It also should give it some depth with the mesh behind it.

Actually we also make many other CF grilles, but these grilles do not have a lot to look at, cause the frames are small, and it costs more in CF too, hence we will not be making them in CF.

Talk about dangling the carrot......

Even though the frame is small and there isn't a whole lot to look at, a CF grill would still look awesome and would definitely be an enhancement; especially for the many of us who have CF hoods etc.

And because the frame is small, the difficulty to make it in CF is now minimized, and I would think the price increase wouldn't be too bad either.

Yeah, but on a part this small it cant be that much.
I had an entire bumper painted in QNO which is also a 3 stage paint and it was 150.00
Either way, this grill will look pretty nice.

Thats a great price Flava. I was quoted $240 for my front bumper about 2 years ago. Anybody know if that color match spray paint is any good? $40 is way better than the easy $100 that the local painters want to charge

We said the grilles are too small to be made of CF, we were refering to being not noticeable, in fact smaller parts are more expensive to make, cause the fine angular shapes when laying the CF weave, CF parts are expensive because of the materials and mostly labors. We will only make these grilles in fiberglass finished in black, we are getting more part for the production and we are serious about it, will keep you guys updated, thanks.

Good news! There are about 20 people who would be interested in the Maxima 97-99 grilles and we will go for it.

1) Design, necessary parts and installation details have been sent to our shop.
2) We will discuss with our shop in details to work on a prototype.
3) When the prototype is ready, we will show you some pictures.
4) If it looks good, we will make the mold and make a sample for test fitting.
5) If it fits fine, we will have pictures to show everyone.
6) Discount price will be confirmed later based on how many people signed up the group buy.
7) Before we make these grilles in volume, deposits are required.
8) Full payments will be collected when the grilles are ready to ship out.
9) It takes 7-10 days to ship out the grilles from our warehouse to the customers.
10) Enjoy the nice grille on your Maxima!

Note: It may take 3-4 months to work on the prototype and sample, and another 1-2 months to finalize fitment during the production until we officially sell the finished products, please be patient with us as we are also busy working on other parts, but we will keep you updated. If it works out great, the next production will be for the Maxima 95-96 grilles.

the 97-99 grille should definitely have a outer frame that is the same thickness all around and the grill mesh should be a lil finer.

And if its gonna be plastic the price should be under $100

So i want a 95-96 grille, should I wait to give a deposit until you guys decide whether or not you are going to produce them? B/c I am on the list now, but it doesnt make sense for me to give a deposit for something that isnt sure to be produced.

IMO, I wouldn't even worry about it. Sounds like tt's gonna be a little while anyway. They are still working on being an authorized vendor too.

So this company makes oem replacements for our cars? If so, I think it'll be cool if they made the 95-96 oem replacement to fit the 97-99 maxima. Kinda like what flava did to his grille ( sorry flava, but the grille looks good and its time for everyone else to enjoy it too lol).

I'm still iffy about this grille, I may be interested. If u get them to make a grille similar to the motorstorm grille, I'll definitely be in on that...
