Gas Smell in Cabin! Strong!

ok, for a while ive noticed a SLIGHT smell of gas when i sit idling for a long time, IE drive thru, waiting for someone, long red light etc....lately its gotten worse. The gas smell is strongest with car on, warmed up, and AC ON.

Things ive checked.

Looked around underneath the car while running for visual drips/leaks - nothing.
Sniffed around car/under hood while running - nothing.
Exhaust smells fine, not like the cars running super rich.
Codes, Scanned and nothing comes up, no exhaust or evap.
Inspected Lines, Rail, Injectors. They dont look cracked, wet, leaky.
Pulled rear seat bottom and inspected fuel tank lines, pump assbly gasket, etc.

Im at a loss for ideas.

If you can get your car on a lift, get it up and smell around the exhaust manifolds while its running.

My Honda did this an it was simply solved by changing my gas cap, go get a new one an see what happens if anything you have a new gas cap. As the car is running the tank get pressurized an forces the fumes out of where ever it can so my Honda forced it out the gas cap put a new one an voila no more gas fumes

Did you check the entire fuel system under the hood in the engine bay? Hoses on both ends of the fuel filter. What about the FPR? What about at each injector?

Thats what i meant with the Fuel Pump assembly Gasket....lol not really sure what else to call it....

Will try fuel cap tomorrow, however every fill up i get the depressurization of air sound of sucking of air when i unscrew the cap. Idk if that means its pressurizing well.....also thinking about this....ill try unscrewing the cap in the morning before pressurizing the system to see if it holds the pressure.

And what would i b looking for around the manifolds.....how does that tie in?

O and i recently replaced fuel filter too btw....

I still had that pressure sound when I would remove the gas cap so it could be the o-ring like prevously mentioned.

A rubber hose could be drying up and developing small cracks, so small that the gas evaporates before you get a chance to see it. This was a common problem on the 3rd gens.

Does the smell occur when the tank is full only or at any level?

i think i may have it figured out....first of all upon more complete inspection i saw that one of my injectors had developed a small leak under the rear of the cap and was barely noticable. ok....replace o-ring, and leak gone. Still have a little smell and i think its the rubber hose mating the front and rear rails together. It looks wet all the time, not leaking/dripping, just looks wet. Idk if its developing small cracks or what but its and easy fix so ill give it a shot.
