Hi, when I park and turn off car the steering wheel doesn't lock. I just installed alternator and belt. I noticed a leak above the small belt and pulley. I dont think it was oil? Please help if you can.

The steering wheel locking mechanism is 100% in the steering column, changing the alternator cannot cause any problems. Sometime you way have to turn the steering wheel as much as a quarter turn for the lock the engage.
The small belt and pulley you mention is your power steering pump. The leak you talk about is oil, probably from a power steering hose.

i never lock my wheel up, not even when i first got it. your leak is probably the seals around the pump. make sure your fluid level is topped off on the line.
