I bought a used Place Racing CAI for my 97SE and it came with a JWT airfilter. The filter looks fine and was just reoiled. Should I keep this filter or should I buy a genuine K&N air filter? Also, which K&N filter would I need and how much do they cost?

are you sure its a JWT filter...they look like the K&N's so it can be deceiving but all PR CAI's come with K&N filters...the only way it can be a JWT filter is if the previous owner of the CAI switched them on you...

The person that I bought it from said that it was a JWT air filter. Is there any way to tell if it is? I realize that Place Racing only sells there kits with K&N air filters, but couldn't you but kits without the air filters, for the people that already had the filter?
