PLEASE HELP! Sun roof stuck open!

Yesterday my boyfriend jumped our old maxima with my 97 and ever since then my sun roof has been stuck open! It is very rainy here and I am in a panic! My boyfriend put in a new relay but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Pop off the map light and there should be a bolt you can manually close the sunroof with. Just keep turning it until it closes.

Wouldn't the relay/fuses prevent the motor from blowing?

another day owning 3 maximas

ok here's the update. all relays are fine. could not find the fusible link under the hood, but i broke out the voltage meter and have power to the harness,(at least the 2 wires to the passenger side of the harness. assuming the other 2 wires are for power back to the motor from the switches. only thing left is the switches, or the motor. anyone have a sunroof motor for sale. love/hate relationship to these cars!

the only way to test the motor is to apply 12v across it to see if it runs. Im willing to bet the motor is crapped out.

But def remove the switches and check for any burns. Does the motor smell like its burned out?

i didnt take the motor out or even get too close to it, i did smell the switches and they smells fine. i guess i could always test the output of the switches.

any shot at leaving it in and supplying voltage to the existing wiring. like a jumper?
