Dude, that resembles a GReddy Evo2. Pretty positive it's that, or a knock-off of the EVO2

It sounds to good to be a knock off I think.

here is a pic of the actual GREEDY EVO2 and mine side by side.

They look incredibly similar if not identical.

I love the black on black. Mine is wired for fogs, the lenses are just missing for some reason.

Nice buy. If it's a real Greddy Evo 2 exhaust, the tip will have the Greddy logo engraved on the top of it. Actually, the muffler has Greddy on the top side also, but you probably don't want to take it down just to see.

I got a closer look at it yesterday. It does indeed have the Greddy logo engraved on the top of the pipe. I guess one more thing I can be happy with on my purchase.

Pretty much! The more I inspect the car, the more goodies I find already installed.

I do have a slight issue with the tires though. Do I need to get a camber adjust if my tires are wearing heavy from the inside and not much on the outside?

I'm taking it in tomorrow to get it realigned and have the camber adjusted. I don't want it destroying the new tires I'm picking up in a couple weeks.

I'm getting a set of Hankook Ventus V2's all around. I plan on picking up a front strut tower sometime that week too and gonna take it up to the Rocky mountains and see how she takes the curves on some new tread. I can't wait.

Nice car. A little good-quality leather protector might help rejuvenate those seats. My leather seats on my 95SE are in much better shape, but I had them leather protected before I picked the car up brand new and they have been leather protected once or twice a year since. It keeps them supple and helps them from not drying out and cracking over time. Avoid ArmorAll like the plague.

I always use leather cleaner. Armorall = bad. It just makes everything greasy feeling and cracks everything up.

I finally got my car realigned today. Was only $58.00. Car feels a lot better now and it isn't destroying my tread.

Why wouldn't you want fogs? I almost never have to use high beams because of them!

I have no idea why anyone wouldn't want fogs. I bought the car without them. The brackets are still on the car though. I found some oem replacement fogs for about $30.00 each. I'll probably pick a pair up soon.

Sounds like a good plan to me! My brackets are actually rusted such that I had to engineer a new way to fit the lamps in when I replaced the bulbs. Probably a good thing I have fogs...I tend to forget about my high beams when I have them on!

My i30 has fogs and now that I drive my Max without them, I realize how much I miss them. I plan to get some new ones soon.

So figured I'd post an update since it's been a couple weeks.

I got the Maxi some new shoes today.

4x Dunlop Direzza DZ101 205/55/R16

New tires feel very nice. They grip incredibly well and I'm very happy with the overall purchase. Took them up to the canyon to break em in.

Next month I'll be adding a few extras. Clear front bumper markers, Front tower strut bar and possibly a carbon fiber hood (if I have the willpower to save that much $$$).

Wow. So exciting! It looks great. I want to debadge mine as well, my GLE logo already fell off when I washed the car. And the Maxima is coming off. What should I use to clean it up after I take it off? Theres some goo left.

Good job on gettin your car infinimax, love the engine bay. you gotta let me in on the cleanin tips and tricks.

@Terror: "goo-gone" or "goof-off" is what you can use to remove leftover goo and then wax and buff the area

I used a hair dryer and my finger nail with a lot of time and patience. Warm the glue up to get it kinda hot to the touch then carefully pull at it with your nail and finger. Do this until 98% of the glue has been removed. Then wash the car real good with a sponge and lots of soup (this should help break down the remaining glue. Then take a buffer with some buffing compound to the de-badged area until you can't see the outline anymore. Wax the car after buffing to protect the paint.

I used some generic engine bay cleaner (can't remember the exact brand. Bought it from autozone for $6.00 a can). I removed a lot of the hoses, intake as well as the battery and washed them all by hand using the engine cleaner. Then coated the entire engine bay with the cleaner and let it soak (be sure the engine is cool before applying). waited about 10min then scrubbed heavy grease areas and rinsed. Reattached all the parts removed and it was shiny as can be. Took about 1-2hours to do this. After that it's just about upkeep. Gotta touch it up every 2 weeks or so and it stays shiny all the time.

Cracked Radiator

So today while cleaning my intake filter I kept hearing a hissing sound. I pinpointed the sound to the radiator and discovered a crack forming along the top.

Anyone have any suggestions on brands of radiators I should start looking into? Should I get aluminium or plastic?
