engine sourcing/prices

whts up org?
im taking Maxine off the road soon and i'd like to do a vq35 swap

what prices can i expect to pay for a vq35 and where is the best place to source one?

i've read that the 09+ models are better. how true is that?

If your lucky you can find a decent one for 3-400. Depending on mileage and what not.

There are 3 model motors for the vq35
1. 03-05 vq35de Very reliable but 287hp
2.2005.5-06 vq35de rev up. Complete crap! burns oil horrably but 6 more hp
3. 07-08 vq35hr very strong, way more power, revs way higher
This is how it is for 350z's vq35 at least
