99 Maxx Cuttin out at full throttle.

ok its done this few times, it happens when low on gas but still have a bit over E line if i floor it racing it runs good all the way till right when it hits 3rd gear then it goes to 4k RPMS and it just cuts out like its starving for fuel and i kept it floored one time while it was cutting out and the rpms stayed at 4 for a sec then slowly went down then the car car turned off.

the only code is for a bad Oxygen sensor.

my 95 maxx didnt do this even when dead empty on fuel so im not sure if thats my issue.

Same problem here, fuel pump is going buddy... I bet you have long starts some times too.... Well in my case, you could still have a clogged fuel filter too....

Wait... Why are you getting on it with less than a 1/4 tank anyways???

Is the gas light on when you are doing this?

Um... under acceration fuel moves to the back of the tank away from the pump. Should be common knowledge. Thats why stock cars use baffles and foam. Put more gas in your car.

The problem exists between the drivers door and the gas pedal.
