Evap vent valve
Well, my cel is on and I have a p0446 code. I cleaned the vent valve and it opens/closes when I apply 12v. The connector shows 12v when the ign is on, but as soon as I plug in the vent valve, it shows 0v and the valve doesn't open/close.
I inspected the harness and it looks good. Any Ideas?

Make sure the resistance of the valve is something reasonable. Like 30 ohms maybe. The 12 volts to actuate the valve comes from fuse 17 on the red/yellow wire. If sufficient current cannot be supplied on this wire, the voltage will drop when the ECU tries to open the valve. The orange/blue wire goes to the ECU and the ECU grounds that wire to open the valve.
You can pull fuse 17 and measure the resistance between the red/yellow wire on the valve connector and the socket for fuse 17 in the panel. It should be really low, like less than 1 ohm. Make sure the car is off when doing this. Also check the resistance on the orange/blue wire from the conenctor for the valve to the connector for the ECU, pin 70.

I'll go ahead and test the resistance of the two vent valve harness wires like you recommended. If one of them has more than 1 ohm of resistance I'll repair it.

If u getting a CEL for the vent valve...the ECU is getting improper return voltage from the valve. Its a solenoid and i bet the solenoid inside is jus done.

Had same issue. Cleaned valve and it seemed to work fine, but code kept coming back. On the bracket near the the vent valve are two more small valves/switches and several small hoses. I found one of the nipples on one of the devices was broken, but the short hose held it in so it was very hard to find. Eventually pulled the entire bracket and associated parts in JY and replaced the whole thing - problem solved.
Flood got a good point here.
U gotta check all associative hoses and components. Then pull a few parts from the JY

Sounds like your valve is fine. If you have not done it yet I would consider hooking every up, reseting the ECU and seeing if the CEL turns on again.
I had the same issue on my Maxima about nine years ago. I cleaned the shaft of the valve and have not had a problem since. Hope I did not just jinx myself.
