yeah I couldnt upload the vids. Im tethering off my phone and I kept getting calls in between. Will try the ones my homie took with his phone. Pretty much the same vids.

I like the way it sounds bro an I do see what your saying about the rasp, but it's not that bad

 

Something is up with the muffler, I can't say what, but 9/10 times from what I've noticed it's the cause of rasp.

A cat would most likely eliminate all that.

I thought about breaking it in but would rather let the new owner take care of that...peace of mind that its still new

I cried a little when I heard the rev limiter, not bad tho honestly I can barely hear it. Maybe it's the vid but it got a suttle tone

Stock motor, fine... but stock motor boosted about to blow... I wouldn't bounce the limiter.

 

Not you db, I've heard bad things about hitting the limited, blow engine, float valves an empty your wallet lol

 

What? The VQ? Maybe an inferior motor, but not the VQ.

 

My exhaust has a note but not loud at all. I wanted it that way. U can only hear the exhaust between 1k and 2.5k rpms. After that its all intake.

When cruising on the highway 5th gear 80mph about 3.2k rpm, its quiet, real subdued. I like it man.

Next year after inspection time, i might try a WS y-pipe. Im nervous cuz adding the muffler didnt cause any difference on the low end. Felt a lil better up top. I dont wanna add a y-pipe and screw up my flows.

 

If anything, your stock y pipe is whats screwing up your "flows"

Came back from a drive. Got two compliments on my exhaust today . The more I listened to it on the vid, the more it finally made sense to me. I couldnt put my finger on the type of rasp it gives but it dawned on me. Its g35/350z-ish. Flip to about 1:28 of the vid

 

@Aaron and Rod: might end up keeping it for the time being....unless something comes up. Still wanna keep it all OBX so Im on the hunt for and OBX muffler.
