Re: Circuit Pro Coilovers

Circuit Pro?? The Weapon R coilovers right. I believe only about handful of people are running those.

Sleeve type of coilovers like Ground control.

As long you use them with good struts like Koni or KYB/AGX, you should be fine.

I have heard things like them not being able to handle the max's weight.

weaponR sucks , they are made for cars the weight of hondas, and the max weighs a lot more then a civic. Look at Ground controll , and if you can afford it, cattman.

Yeah...

Definitely go with Ground Controls. Sure, they're $150 more, but other wise you'll spend $250 for the Weapon-Rs and another $400 on the Ground Controls once you realize the Weapon-Rs suck.

ummmmmmmmm.........no offense or anything.....but where are you guys getting your info???? have you experienced this personally??? i have the circuit pro's.....and they are fantastic...i haven't had one problem w/them...and to top it off....i can go lower than people w/GC's...the only reason a few people have the circuit pro's is cuz people like you go around saying that they suck a$$...

so go ahead and get them man.....you'll love em....just make sure thatl you get a good strut...(koni/kyb-agx)and when you install them...put the keeper springs on the rear..you don't need them on the fronts though!

Anyone knows the spring rates for the weapon R? That would tell if they are meant to handle maxima's weight.

does anyone know the spring rate? or is the weapon r coils suck thing another word of mouth thing, cuz that seems to be the trend with lots of stuff, but i will not argue with people who have experience, and it seems pawn is the only one with experience that loves them, anyone else know anything about them that has experience?

I also believe Weapon R is of poor quality. I've seen them installed on a civic where they became mushrooms after 1-2 years of use. The weight of the car (however light it may be) pushed the coils right into the sleeves. May have been other factors (4 door, rough driving) but that is my experience.
