I'll post pics of what was swapped out later today, i'm at work and what not.

As far as tools go;
10mm Gear wrench
T50 tamper socket
Phillips Screwdriver
Flat Head Screw driver
Patience and a swear jar(optional).

It was mainly hell, due to me not having a gear wrench so i had to wait on my friend to arrive for passenger side airbag, but Driver airbag is an easy one two:

BEFORE BEGINNING!!! DISCONNECT BOTH BATTERY CABLES AND WAIT FOR AT LEAST 10 MINS. I WON'T BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANOTHER'S MISTAKE

First remove the two T50 bolts and the disconnect the Airbag module from behind once it falls out. Then Place the new module and connect it and bolt back in.(DIDN'T DO THE CLOCK SPRING)

More to come....

Oh my bad, I was drunk and crashed the car 11 months ago. Which lead me to this website, did my research, got my parts from maxima Joe and with his tips got the job done.

I've removed several airbags without disconnecting the battery.

me too! lol, honestly, it wont matter... your airbags are designed not to go off if your car is parked or off... so unless you short a wire, they arent going anywhere!

but, back on topic, what did you pay for everything if you dont mind me asking. and what about the rest of the repairs?

It took me $1600 to get my control arms, front struts, new wheels, 2 sets of tires since I wore out some tires before I had an alignment done, alignment, driver side knuckle, caliper, rotor,
brake pads, windshield, both air bag modules and the gray box under your arm rest, axles, inner and outer tie rods.

Only labor that was done was the guy putting tires on my rims. Other than that my nieghbor and I did all the work, he only charged me a 36 pack and 60 bucks to do all the work and teach me how to do it

Sounds high, unless you have expensive wheels/tires and struts.

He bought wheels, two sets of tires, and struts. Two sets of tires is over half of that, right there. Let alone the rest.

My wheels were 400 and new tires were 380 times 2. The other stuff was cheap to get since my buddy had a autzone commercial discount. He was getting stuff for nearly half off

Makes sense now that he explained it. I was calculating stock/used wheels, cheap tires, cheap struts...

Lol. Yeah a set of 4 cost me 380. And I paid twice because I forgot to align them due to hectic school quarter

Well, I understand that. My 98 5-spd that I have put so much time into over the last year developed a leaky front axle seal. I know I need to rebuild (preferred) or replace the transmission, but I'm busy with school too. So I just went and bought another maxima and I'll switch some parts over and sell the old one. Meh...the new one is in better shape anyway.
