Wondering many of us with an 00vi using the 4th gen IACV are having a hard cold start and i DONT mean engine sitting overnight cold. I mean when the ambient temperature is below 50 degrees cold.

If you have the issue state how you deal with it.

With the IACV adapter on my 3.5 I had to start the car, usually took a few cranks and then keep the gas pedal depressed a bit for about a minute before the idle got up to a constant 900 rpm without dying. After that it was smooth sailing. This was in 20 degree weather last winter. Subsequent "warm" startups like an hour later were much easier since it was warmed up.

Hard cold start meaning extended cranking? Might want to make sure your IAC is actually working.
