I've seen tons of dash kits for sale and installed, and Ive never seen a black/grey wood kit. Try JoshuaTree.com for it, they might have it or be willing to make it custom. I got my aluminum kit from them and it looks perfect.

I got JT's Aluminum Kit (real Brushed Aluminum), and although it looks nice, it had major fitment issues.

Just my .02

Try apsignworks, maybe Shadow will invent it....That would be kick a$$.

Yeah, my JT didn't fit at all. Major major issues with it. Not very pleased but it is on and looks ok. And the vents are starting to come loose. Hmmmmm......

How much work did you have to do to get it to fit? I want to the real aluminum but I'm not sure how it will look. Do you have any pics?

My JT Real Aluminum kit fit PERFECT! Not a single piece didn't fit. I thought it was very easy to install, as long as you have patience and take your time. Make sure you prep the surface well to insure good adhesion. I was surprised at how easy it was. I dont know what you guys are talking about with JT not fitting, must have gotten a bad batch or something.

I really want one. I have GLE wood right now but I love aluminum. I just have to get the stock black plastic peices first. I asked a sales associate from JT if they could send me a srap peice so I could see how it looks and they said no prob. If it looks good I'm gonna get the kit.

If you want to see what the JT Brushed Aluminum looks like, go to my web page.

www.cyberhub.net

It's a pretty rudementary page right now, but you'll at least get to see pics. Go to the "Joshua Tree" link.

I couldn't find any other companys that make "real" almuminum dash kits. Luckily JT uses a Max for there "demo" pics so you can kinda see but i want to see it in real life before I shell out 200 bucks.
The display in my dash is my favorite mod. It's a Whistler custom Radar/lasar detector. Itook the diplay apart and installed in my cluster.

I removed the cluster from the car. I didn't have to completely diiassemble the cluster. The black bezel piece seperates from the white faced guages. Then I took my Dremel tool to the black peice. It only cost $15, I checked in case I f***ed up! After making an ovlong hole I installed the radar readout with a glue gun. The radar is a custom kit so the readout is seperate from the brain. It comes with a decerotive peice of plastic around it. I just removed the plastic and stuck it behind my guages. The buttons are also a seperate part. I mounted them by the center vents.

My site was down for a bit. i was running a Beta of the new Microsoft OS that's coming out in the Spring, and it blew up on me.

Anyway, it's back up now. www.cyberhub.net

apsignworks (Shadow on this forum) sells a nice kit. the "grain" on the brushed aluminum is vertical, instead of horizontal like on the JT kit, but that's a metter of preference.

I think it cost less too, and it does fit better.
