Like I said, I think his pricing is fair, Im sure it would go up if the retro became a bit more custom and detailed which is understandable.
Not sure why you get so offended when comments are made about your posts, when you have no problem with slamming other members here.


Ive done a few sets and theyve all taken different amounts of time based on the parts being used. On my current setup the first time I did it it took me quite a while, but I wasnt dedicating much time to them each time I worked on them.
I recently redid them complelty and spent about 8-9hrs on them.

Dual retro = $100.
Quad retro = $150.

 

I found 4 sets of J30 Projectors at my local junkyard. All of them still encased in the headlight assembly in damn near perfect shape. Paid $2.99 per projector.

I'd never pay $80 for a projector lens when there is hundreds of perfectly good ones probably sitting at the junkyard.

As for the HID's go name brand or go home. Everyone I've seen buying ebay ones, they burn out a week later.

Just got the ball rolling on another retro.

$450 for a full set up and I'm talking everything (labor, new housings, bulbs, ballasts, shrouds, projectors and wiring harness all from TRS).
