definitely not junking it! i have too much of me in that damn car lol but yea just towed it 2hrs away back home to have my family's people look at it.

Looking like ECM troubles.

I'm having the same problem. Did reprogramming work? Dealer or Locksmith? Anything else to get you back on the road?

to be brutally honest we still have no idea.. i am driving a honda pilot now

once i get an update i'll update the thread but he seems to be taking his dear sweet time.. i'd rather not be driving this massive fake SUV anymore though lol

Back to the top with this!

So we have unofficially narrowed it down to the ecu as the source of the nothingness happening with my vq.

My mechanic said something about when replacing the ecu it has to be brand new and matching serial numbers otherwise it will foul out. I'm not sure about the validity of this and haven't seen anything to support it in my research.

I did find that RockAuto will re-program ecu's for much less than the stealership will charge for a "new" one.

Any thoughts and advice welcome

my bad man it wasn't.. it will come on sometimes after i disable the battery and enable it but otherwise no it's not a long lasting thing.
