fog lamp bulb issues

Bought a 97 Max with OEM fog lamps and when i purchased it the pass side fog lamp was blown. I replaced both bulbs with yellow h3's. The pass side bulb only lasted 2 days.... bad bulb or should i be looking for a wiring issue? thanks!

Take the bulb from the other side and swap it in. If it blows again, it's not a bulb issue.

Just to verify-- you know not to touch the glass right? I always wipe mine down with alcohol before installing-- just in case.

I swapped in the other bulb and it blew also. Found the issue in the process though...the pass side fog is missing that rubber boot thing and i believe it was touching the bulb and grounding out . anyway, i got new bulbs and wrapped the pass side with electrical tape and no issues so far....

I changed the fog light relay for the factory fogs to work. Still doesn't work even swapping bulbs from one to another. In need of assistants.
