Funky idle at times
Funky idle at times
OK here goes. 97SE 5-spd, at times when I press in the clutch to come to a stop, the idle will drop down to like 400rpms and then bounce back up to around 900rpms. Now, it does this every now and then BUT does it more often when I have the auto climate control on "economy".
Does this sound like the bain of the imfamous "dirty" throttle body?
What else could it be?
What does the "Auto" vs "Econ" do with the climate control?
Thanks all and choose to have whatever type of New Year you want. Peace: e3 - spamman

Probably less actually. I only had to remove the one circular clip holding it on to the throttle body itself by unscrweing it. From there you can pull it out and slide it down and your ready to go. Took me maybe 5 - 10 minutes.
