Honest opinion I think
I know its not finished but just wanting to get feedback on what i have going. Its a 97 GLE skyline headlights and body kit. custom hood, shaved antenna and door trim with the 350z wheels. I plan to finish primer before winter then come spring i am going to shave in the body kit and either go with a hot rods flat white or i am thinking about the Cadillac pearl white haven't decided but all feedback is welcome.

It is too busy; you need less bulging out. Also, consider how the lines flow. You have some round, some sharp, some protruding, etc.
If you like it, that is really all that matters IMO. If you are going to go with something real aggressive, I would suggest backing it up with other mods.

There are quite a few maximas with the gtr kit that look good. I'm not feeling yours so far though.
First things first, with any Maxima, take care of the suspension first before any visual mods. A nice 2" drop with everything else stock (including wheels) always looks better than slapping on wheels, bodykits, etc at stock height. The hood looks terrible in my opinion. The stock hood lines are subtle, but yet aggressive when paired with bodykits. Lastly, to pull off that kit, the wheels need to be a lot more aggressive than what you have now because the kit is so large. 19" or 20" in diameter preferably with aggressive widths/offset.
Don't take this as a bashing, take it as constructive criticism.

i like the body kit. always have everytime i have seen it.
Me personally, i wd have kept the wheels chrome. Everything else on the car looks good to me.
Too many ppl got the lip...gotta swag it up your own way. yup!

i understand what everyone is saying about him having his own style...blah blah, but i'd rather see no lip no kit, than that skyline kit. the maxima from the first fast and furious didn't even have a ****ty body kit and that's from the time when rice was popular.
but yea...to each his own.
at the end of the day, it's your car and your money. please yourself and only yourself.

The front end would probably look better with the fog lights fitted in, can't tell what you did to the hood from the pic, and a set of coilovers. Like someone else said though, you would probably be better off w/ a bigger set of rims too. It's a nice start though, good luck!

I have a fully rebuilt 2001 3.0 and getting ready to do a 5 speed swap. The motor has full headers exhaust cold air intake had been ported and polished. And once I lower it I want to go even or mabye a slight tilt to the front haven't decided yet. And I knew asking for opinions I would get people who liked the kit and people who didt. But I will post more pics of the hood and motor build

needs to be slammed!, body kit is a bit to aggressive i think, but it is definitely different than any other max's that i have seen. I like the black roof idea but needs to flow better into the white. The pillars look weird black. Would look sweet with painted gold G35 18's

still have some finishing touches but have smoothed it out. i kept the factory line as i also like the factory lines but wanted more without slapping on an advanced hood scoop lol.
this is the 01 3.0 fully reassembled. i did a port and polish on the upper lower intake manifold and on the heads as well. it wasnt much do to the fact that the ports were only lacking mabye an eighth on an inch off being smaller than the gaskets. i have all bolt ons as of noe headers full cold air kit 2 1/2 inch exhaust with greddy evo 2. future mods include a set of 262 kelford cams but at $$1,900 it is a bit to expensive to just up and order.
heads from the old motor were shot
new heads

painting the firewall
