lower control arm...

can someone point me to a good writeup on the lower control arm replacement? Going to tackle this tomorrow...i know i can remove the arm itself but is it hard to get that other mounting arm out to put into the new arm? do i need to have it pressed in or does it unbolt and pull out? i know there is another arm/peice that has to be swapped over but dont know what it is called, sorry for the confusion, hope this makes sense...

ive read horror stories of that pin seizing in the arm but 220k and mine came right out

just drench it in pb and you may be ok

order a new pin just in case. you can always return it and it will give you piece of mind while doing the repair

heres a link for the bushings but its the same procedure to remove it

Got it all replaced and pin came right out. Unfortunately the control are was not the problem though, i made a hasty decision without actually looking for the source of the noise. After looking closer the strut mount in obviously loose and causing the noise... got the mount from AZ for $40 going to rent a spring compressor and replace it Sat. It has 160k on it so i know struts would be ideal too but just cant spend the $ right now, its going to have to wait a couple months...Thanks guys for your help
