Repair manual
Hi all,
A while back, I found a link on this site to a manual for trouble shooting all sorts of repairs. It was a lot of info which I thought I had saved, but can't find on my computer. Anyways, I haven't been able to find it again. It wasn't a chilton or haynes manual. I think it was the dealer manual. It had all the specs on the equipment. Like what the impedance on good electrical parts should be. Does anyone know where I could find that again?
I'm chasing down a P0300 code and what appears to be a bad starter (engine makes no effort to turn over when I turn the ignition). I don't know that they are related. From what I remember, this manual did a pretty good job of laying out most of the possible symptoms for an issue as well as what issues may cause a symptom and would be tons of help when working through the "5 whys."
Thanks for your help.

Maybe they are related.
checked out the code on this site: http://boredmder.com/ecucodes/index....1997&DTC=p0300
Is the Ignition secondary circuit something that could be exposed to rain? The engine "shields" on the bottom of my car's front end are a bit battered, and it's been rainy recently. So did I short my starter because of rain?

Starter is not part of the ignition circuit. Secondary ignition sounds like coils.
Does the motor crank when you turn the key, or just do nothing.
Cranking/turning over just means the starter is turning the motor over. Is it turning over and not starting?
