You can do the math :/

Last night a 18 wheeler pulled out in front of me and I met his rear end, since I skidded under very lucky to be walking today and very lucky I walked away last night,

As far as damage-

Cracked windshield, smashed passenger doors and glass, front fender, and bent door pillars ( inside where door meets)

I ripped it all down today, as much as I could and got 2 new doors bolted on, and they still need a little elbow grease and hammering and some pressing to fit right again, but I'm as sick as a dog, and after getting poured on last night, I had it for the day.

Last week it was a deer, now a 18 wheeler, might consider buying another car and having the Max sit for a little( with lowering springs, and other goodies sitting waiting for me under the tree) till spring . Maybe a Audi a4 or a 240 nothing to expensive

But anyway, hope everyone has a happy, healthy and exciting holiday!

Glad you're okay. And good for you on keeping it around. I'd take that as a sign to move on to another car.

Glad you are Okay OP. Damage doesn't look to bad. Seems like you'll have it fixed up in no time.

Glad your okay, but that's nothing.

Friend of mine wasn't paying enough attention at an intersection pulled out and got whacked by an Semi.

Driving an 08 Nissan Quest.

It looked like a Compact car.

He unbuckled his seat belt, opened the door, stepped out of the vehicle; and took pictures.

He had very minor abrasions, and no major injuries of any kind. But everyone who saw the vehicle, would have told you someone was dead.

There was just enough room for him in the vehicle, the passenger seat where his wife should have been sitting went through the rear window.

Glad to see you're okay. I use to drive trucks for a couple years & hated unsafe driving. You should see some nice money being that it was his fault. Hope you're able to fix your car up. As far as luck goes, I'd consider moving before getting rid of my ride.

HAHAHA, man I've been up and done the junk yards and I have about 4 pebble beige fenders sitting in my garage and none of them are dent free. I'm still playing around with them, but this will have to do for now, I also had to bang out my hood a primer the top edge, this will have to do so I have a vehicle... Paint job right after this cold weather!

dude these friggin deer this year are bat shiz crazy! I hit a medium sized 6 point buck in the middle of the friggin day in Texas! 1:30 in the after noon with about 7 cars in front of me almost bumper to bumper. It just choose my hood to try and hurdle. But I'm like you man, I can't give up on it. 217k miles and still running decent.

But seriously, watch out for those 18 wheelers. its great you were able to walk away from this.

WOW - That looks incredible! Think about painting the whole car black ? :-) So, is insurance totaling it and giving you a check, then?

You and the trucker just agreed to get it fixed on your own and each going your separate ways? What about the dude that hit you?

Holy buckets! You are seriously lucky. A friend of mine was hit by a semi that ran a red-light in their VR-4, he had two collapsed lungs, was life flighted to a hospital and after spending several days in a coma luckily woke up, glad you are safe.
