Problems with STUPID electrical connectors

In the process of swapping engines I am having problems with the "easiest" part. I though getting the little electrical connectors undone would be easy but many of them are giving me issues. Any advice on these? I have tried pressing in, out, up, down, and every other way. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you pressing in the green part of the connector and then pulling the plug up?

You press the clip and hold it down while you pull the connector off. Wiggle it and pull firmly. If that doesn't work use a screw driver to press the clip and push back but you'll probably ruin it if you don't use finesse.

I always find that to be one of the hardest parts of any repair job. For some reason, there's always one that you can't quite push in far enough, and your fingertip gets trashed. Try something metal, like the end of a small punch, or a screwdriver, and make sure you can see it well enough to know you're pushing in the right spot. If I ever get ambitious, I'm going to invent something like a thimble with a little metal nub for just this purpose...

Little bit of compressed air and lubricant will do wonders
