I'd fix the w/p to get more out of it. If I were in the area I'd jump on that Max @ that price w/ just the w/p being the problem, but of course I don't think it's too terrible a job to do either. Shame I don't live closer.

i dont know how to begin the water pump job and i just bought a 03 I35 i dont have the coin to drop in the car anymore it makes me sad

It's not that bad just tedious. Would cost under $100 for water pump,coolant and oil change.
Pmohr even made a how to video on youtube.
