THIS... It gets annoying when there are 5 threads in the past week. I understand people are new but the search feature isn't hard to find at all. Also tigersharkdude is one of the most helpful people I've met on the org. Just gets old having to type the same answer all the time that's all.

I bought the A32 ultra racing strut bar from ebay and it seems well made. Unfortunately, it doesn't clear the thing that holds pipe on the left side. I also tried reversing it but then the brake fluid reservoir gets in the way. Any ideas for getting it to fit?

Bend the bracket out of the way or redrill a new mounting hole in the bracket so that it will sit lower.

Lealex, is that the only thing keeping the bar front mounting? Do the holes line up on both sides? Also, do u have abs?...

ChrisMan287: Maybe we can work something out if you end up doing that retrofit for me

MaxiNone: No ABS. All the holes line up fine on both sides, but on the right side (bottom picture) there is metal sticking out that needs to be removed because it prevents the bar from going down all the way. Also, there might be some clearance issues with the other stuff in the middle (second picture).

If only I didn't need money lol

You can bend that bracket towards the motor. It should allow the bar to bolt down.

Oh I thought you were talking about the ac line on the passenger side (referred to the right side in most cases, which is why I was confused). That bracket on the driver side strut tower is for the second bleeder for the clutch, you can just cut it off.

The ac line moves around like jelly once you unbolt that bracket which can be easily bent to clear the bar.

Here are some pics from that build thread:

But what I'm most interested in is this:

It looks like this could fit on a car that already has stage 1 SFCs and LTB. However, it looks like it wouldn't work if you have stage 2/3 SFCs or a stage 2 LTB.

Also, does it bother anyone else that their FSTB only attaches to two of the three strut bolts? I'm all for a solid construction and the third connection point to the firewall, but unsure of the 2/3 strut bolts.

this is what I was wondering. With it only attaching 2 of the bolts, could it put stress on the "front" bolts in corners?

Why do the rear struts only have 2 instead of 3?

Probably the same reason why the strut bar is the same way?

Very interested in this stuff, should see it on my other car very soon, making it fit seems to be no problem and having it in white is a WIN for me
