It seems the haters are occupied again with talk of retro fits and fog lights. Nighty night got a high idle to fix tomorrow.

Don't mess up that TB or IACV by adjusting screws trying to compensate for a vac leak. Just sayin. Take a step back, think a little about it and see what those folks recommended. I hate vac leaks.

You keep stressing on the fact that I am trying to make my car look fast, why? Have you ever seen me trying to call someone out? You tried to insult me stating my headlights and got shut down fast. You spew out advice to members on this forum like you an are an expert.

Here is another funny and witty pic. nice taillights, bub.

Those tails were on because my gf backed my car into a post and broke the stocks I had. As you can see the left bumper is about an inch lower under the tail. nice try though. sorry you probably went scouring through threads to try to find SOMETHING to say. I say that becaue what did all that **** cost? transfer that to engine mods and you actually get something that impresses people. Not yellow fogs. I got up for this. GL on your next lighting mod

shockandawe, youre a cluster**** of a person honestly. anytime someone criticizes you, its instantly "hating." and you constantly set yourself up to be dogged over and over again. and everytime you try and give advice like you know what youre talking about, its usually regurgitated halftruth nonsense.

why dont you calm the **** down and worry about working on your car. when youve got a supercharger kit in your hands and are currently installing it, THEN make a build thread. this thread is literally just a call for attention man.

i tried to make a truce with you but youre really making it hard for me not bust your ***** 24/7.

I see no 6mt, thus all "performance" is all null and void.

So your saying an A/T is voids performance? Do you watch racing at all? Or know anything about A/T with the right controller? Almost every major racing team is switching to A/T's for a reason. Have you ever noticed when you race an A/T that they gain ground on you when you change gears? The avg M/T doesnt shift fast and the throws are long as hell. Just because you think your cool for having a M/T doesnt mean your a good enough driver to actually take advantage racing a stock A/T. Good lord Im beginning to think only a hand-full of people on this forum actually know anything about engines and transmissions. Ggenius I don't care what you or anybody else thinks about me, who messages someone to make a truce for real though? I've got better things to do than talk crap and thats all this forum is half the time. Damn lighting mods and body kits. THATS ricer for ya, making your car LOOK fast.

This is true and any car with stock engine internals can only go so far. Its still the vq block though and thats all that matter to me. Tuning and a standalone can take you really far nowadays. If I decide to stick to a N/A set-up then I will really limit myself. Like I said, Im still working on my end goal so well see. I certainly am not doing any write-ups or posting anymore pictures of my build though. These A holes will only talk crap. A forum should be about encouraging others and making everybody want to do more with their set-ups. Sadly half the people on this forum probably lose the .org members besides actually helping and gaining it members

I never had that problem it's called power shifting , If your building a full blown car for the strip i would say a built Auto would be better, As far as a bolted Maxima 9 times out of ten M/T > A/T in a race. As far as an all around fun street car goes M/T is the way to go IMO.

If you like your car and plan on hanging on to it for a while just do a 5 speed swap.

Im not saying a M/T isnt fun, it is and if I could get a halfway decent M/T for my car I would. I just think the money to switch to a 4th gen M/T isnt worth the time or money because its far from firm. Id spend more on getting it just "good" to make it worth while. I have a BA A/T I can bolt up so its simply easier to go that route. From a stop I can manual shift my A/T and thats fine for now. The Nissan transmissions that are available for my gen just arent that great so why go to a M/T just for fun? just not worth it IMO

I think y'all still need to relax. Let the guy try his 500CC and the other mods he wants to do. If he fails, THEN you can flame him but I don't encourage it.

Come on, let's all be friends!!!!!!!!!!!

The person that said 500cc injectors is stupid? knows nothing about engines or the proper cc for hp. Our stock injectors? will handle about 250hp MAX and thats with pump and fuel delivery at 100% which in an old car isnt likely. Just because you have 500cc capable injectors? doesnt mean you have to run them at 100%. And "getting along" is not possible with haters dude. All they do is hate because their life sucks and the only way they feel better is by putting other people down. The only reason I get mad is because this is MY thread, I dont go on someone elses build and say oh that looks like crap or sounds like crap.

I learned that i have a blown Maxima with stock injectors thats over 300 horse that's perfectly fine and actually runs rich. I have seen multiple cars including Maxima's over 250 horse that had to be leaned out on the dyno.

I'd rather get a better car with a manual transmission, which there are. You know? I've driven a fully bolted 5 speed max though and it was MUCH faster than my mildly done auto

dude theres a million factors that go into choosing the right injectors. for 300hp? the ideal injector size would be about 330cc. Every situation is different. 500cc injectors was a brain fart on my part. the actually size of the zx TT injectors are 370cc. Thats far from overkill

the tranny options for the early max sux. Its an issue we have to overcome when building but there are far worse issues you could have I suppose

Indeed you can, real tempting deals but personally I'm ready to move on to something else as other orgers have.

Nice boosted max btw

sub'd. OP, this is the internet, you're gonna need some thick skin, especially in the modded world. best of luck to you and your build.

as far as injector sizing, 370cc i reached 299whp on a 3.0 SC'd at 9 psi.... then i did a 3.5 SC'd with stock injectors (290cc) at 6psi and hit 322whp.... THEN i did 440CC RC's on the 3.5 SC'd at 9psi, meth spray, and hit 374whp. there are plenty of higher horsepower Max's on here. hang out in the ALL Motor and Forced Induction section and read up on different setups.
