door lights

ive search the forum but nothing came up but are the door courtesy lights suppose to stay on like the dome light then go out. if not what would i have to do to make them. the reason for this is that i molded a curb light into the bottom of the mirror.

They turn on when a door is opened and stay on until the door(s) are closed.

You have to run wires from them to the dome light, that would be simplest for you to accomplish.

It was lol At first I thought he was talking about his rear view mirror.

OP, you'd have to hook it up to the dome like Quicky said.

He said he molded the lights? Scary part is, how are you capable of molding lights but can't figure that one out? Perhaps he bought different mirrors like some aftermarkets or something.
