is it the right motor

Wats up! I got another de but I seen it doesn't have 2 sensors on the motor. These have vacuum lines on them. One next to the map sensor and another near the coolant lines. If I use it as is will my car still run? What will I have to do?

If you really have a vq30de then it should work. If you post a picture here that would answer all of your questions. Does the engine that you purchase look like your old one? Have sensors been taken off of it? I don't really understand what you are saying.

It's probably the boost sensor that came in 96 and wasn't present in 95's.

Check the block /head under the IM, it will read VQ30DE.

Oh yeah:

oh okay, I was not understading the original statement Just make the new engine match your old set up. If it's missing a few sensors then swap them over to the new engine.

you should not have any loose vacuum lines. Make the new engine look like your old one. If you are talking about the emissions stuff that was not on the early 4th gen engines, if my memory serves me correct you can just un bolt it from you intake manifold. Again, a picture would probably answer everything, but in short you want to make the new engine look like the old one, that includes sensors and vacuum lines.
