Has this happened to anyone before? I guess I have to trace the wire and see if I can find where it is broken.

I already did the obvious, changed bulbs, and i plugged the light in on the front left side instead of the right. It works fine.

is this the interior, with the gauge cluster? Or is this one of the actual blinker bulbs on the outside of the car?

Not a 100% sure about this but make sure your hazard switch is plugged in good. Only saying this cuz on most cars the blinkers pass through the hazard switch. also you could just have a bad switch on the column. I hope it is something simple for you. Is it both of the right side lights or just the front or rear. If it is just a front or rear disregard anything I said, Probably just a dirty socket at the light.

Ok so if its only one of the blinkers, take a close look at the socket for the bulb. Corrosion any where? How about a loose or frayed wire?

plug the bulb in and out several times from the bulb socket...sometimes the contacts need a bit of cleaning and that's one way to do it

I already plugged the same bulb/socket in on the left side and it worked fine.

Then you're going to have to trace wires. If the bulb socket is ok then what about the socket connector to the car?

Did you check your fuse? If the fuse is good maybe the culprit is the stalk!
