I doubt it. It just looks like your standard code reader.

4th gen ECU's don't hold timing advances anyway..

I know, but I was under the impression that I wouldn't lose the advance unless my ecu was reset. (Could be wrong) That doesn't happen often and when it does I figured I could just repeat the procedure. Anyway, if anyone knows of a device with this ability that is reasonably priced, I would appreciate a link or product name. Thanks.

As soon as the car is shut off, you'll lose the timing advance.
