Prosport Performance Series Gauges Review!

Prosport is a new company to the game of automotive gauges. They pride themselves on their moto: "We Don't Need No Stinkin' Controller". These gauges don't require any kind of controller. Most gauge clusters require a central unit that you then plug all the gauges into. The problem with that is it makes most performance gauges very expensive. The downside is you have a little more wiring to do then you would with a controller set up.

Reference link to the Performance series that this review consists of.

There isn't very many user reviews of the Performance Series. I figured I'd provide a detailed review of my own personal purchase to help others that are in need of a similar set up as my own.

I've ordered 3 52mm White/Amber, but so far have only received and installed 2 of the 3. I have installed an A/F Ratio gauge and Voltage gauge. I'm still waiting on the Oil pressure gauge. The A/F signal is not wired currently. I'm waiting on my OBX-R V2 headers and Y-pipe to come this week so that I can wire my Bosch wideband to the gauge and into the Y-pipe.

Here is a 4min video review if you'd like to see them in action.

Here's some pics of the finished product

Overall I'm very happy with the quality of these gauges and I recommend them to anyone looking for a nice affordable set of gauges.

I will also point out that the instructions are brief, however if you know how to install an aftermarket stereo, you shouldn't have any problems doing these yourself.

Ive bee running a boost gauge in my Mazda for over a year now and it qorks great. I like how it is all balck until powered on and when it is on it matches the factory gauges dead on.

I can see how the amber would match the new Mazda's. My buddies Mazda 3 dash lights look exactly like the amber from these gauges.
