Code 0803=absolute pressure sensor?

Hey guys, does anybody know what the code 0803 reads. I was unable to locate it on this site. I saw all the others but this one. I went to maximadriver.com and it came up as an absolute pressure sensor, and or M.A.P=Boost sensor. One dealer told me that he had never heard of that particular code, what is the deal? My car is running excellent, no stalls, and or sluggishness, and my gas mileage is nice 27-30 mpg hwy. The boost sensor list for 137.00 at the dealer. i was told that i had 2?

DTC 0803

4th gen forum search results for "boost sensor":

http://forums.maxima.org/search.php?...der=descending

Good posts from that search:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....threadid=76156
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....threadid=76634

Even better:

4th gen forum search results for "0803":

http://forums.maxima.org/search.php?...der=descending

Which reveals an even more specific post as to diagnosing the sensor:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....threadid=79342

I'll add this in to the ECU sticky post in the near future.

This is for all those who think search is stupid.

Do you have a stock setup of your air filter system?? If so, it is the sensor sitting at the front of the engine, right beside the intake air scoop, right on top of the radiator, or thereabouts. It has a small vacuum hose connected to it. Most people say it does nothing.

Thanks guys. I have seen the sensor label "boost sensor" many times in the past. So my guess is that the dealer may have been B.S. when they spoke about 2. And yes i do have stock intake. 137.00 for this item is a bit much! Thanks again ! How was everyone's New Years?
