Help: Hesitation Issue

Yesterday I finished the ssim mod for my 3.5 swapped 4th gen. Put everything back together with all new gaskets, started it up and everything was all good. However, when I went for a drive, the car would hesitate and "hit fuel cut" as soon as I neared 3500 rpm. As soon as I increased throttle it would immediately hit "fuel cut" regardless of the rpm the car was at. Took the car back home and checked for any intake leaks and found one from the lower intake manifold. Took everything apart and resealed it and once again check for leaks and everything was clear. Took it for another ride and same deal. Im starting to think that the maf sensor may have gotten dirty from sitting around for so long, but Im not sure what it could be. Any ideas?

3500 or 2500. Try cleaning your MAF with Electric Contact Cleaner, than report back.

Or MAF Cleaner, or alcohol Idontcare what you use jsut clean the ****.

Thats exactly what I was planning on doing just to start off. Only thing that I find weird is that it only happens under load. If I rev the car in neutral itll rev past 3500. But if I try to cruise and slowly accelerate past 3500rpm the car loses power and cuts back on. Same thing happens when I open the throttle a bit more but it happens immediately regardless of what rpm im at.

Also something to note. I removed the elbow, tb, upper + lower im, etc. to do the ssim mod and clean out all the parts. I did remove the tps from the tb however. Could this be the cause of my problem? I honestly have no idea how I could check if everythings functioning ok and how Id go about fixing it.

Reset the tps and cleaned the maf but still has the same issue. Under normal driving I cant go over 2k rpm and it cuts me out but now when I go wot there is no issue. Also, if I rev the car up to 3k rpm, the idle bogs up and down from 3k rpm to around 1300rpm. Vacuum test showed that the car had around 18psi while idling. What could the issue be?

Vacuum leak? TB gasket? Any open holes between MAF and TB?
