It's going to stick out an extra inch and a half and look stupid. The design of those wheels isn't going to help any.

But go for it.

I'm lower than last year lol They'd only look good if we could add negative camber to the rear but that's not possible. An inch and a half poke in the rear and even more up front is retarded.

but youre comparing a 8in wide wheel with a 9.5in wide wheel. the 18in wheels are wider and will stick out more. if your car is stock height dont bother, it'll look hidious

Not yet lol I'm waiting till the car looks decent enough to take pics.

5th gens can pull off that kind of offset.

Im in agreement until I see it. Would have to be really low though and as long as I dont have to bounce around in it then I can support it if it looks good. What offset are most people running on 4th's?

For 9.5's maybe around 30 give or take a few. Obviously higher up front.

DAAAMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNN thats fire!!!

and '4th gens cant pull it off' because everyone is afraid to do it, i want the OP to break the mold w/ the 4th gens (although i know other 4th gen owners have done it) but 5th gen owners are starting to man up even more and go w/ high offset, wide wheels

that's because unfortunately a lot of fourth gen guys are afraid to stretch and go ***** out with stance.

Im running 17x9 with 25 offset in the front and 17x9.5 with 30 offset in the rear. It looks fine and doesnt rub, I just need more of a drop. But I think a 15 offset is way too low for a max. 24-25 mm should be the lowest you go on the front on a 4th gen.

It looks right on 5th gens because of the way the fenders sort of flare. It's nice to have some poke/stretch right under there. On 4th gens it's not as simple and you get that mexiflush look without tons of work. Flush > poke/stretch on 4th gens.

Yup. For reference, check out this old post:
http://forums.maxima.org/3333277-post20.html

8.5's up front and 9.5's out back and +35 all around. It looks good, pretty much perfect. The design of those wheels helps because the face of the wheels sit in which look great. Now, imagine the fronts sitting 45mm out and the rears sitting 20mm out from there..

Even with stretched tires and negative camber, the front will probably look stupid cambered out to the max while the rear sits there looking stupid just poked out with no negative camber. The design of the wheels won't help any either.

i know there are 4th gen'rs that *** with stance, but most are too scared to run aggressive stance, or even slammed for that matter

There comes a point where things get too aggressive and look stupid. This is a clear case of that. Whether the OP is at stock height or slammed, it's gonna look stupid.

With my 9.5's, I know a +30ish would have been better. But, they only had + 20 in stock and I have coilovers to slam. Plus, my tires will be stretched a little bit.

I don't think it's gonna work too well. I know Josh (J2FRESH) was rockin' 9.5 +35 all around with stretch/slam and it looked spot on for aggressiveness. Not overdone or stupid looking at all.

I can't imagine the front/rear sticking out an additional 15mm and looking good but that's just my opinion. If you can pull it off I applaud you. In for results..

Damn, now I'm looking at wheels. I want it to look kinda like those 5th gens up higher... and it would be something not seen on a 4th gen, around here anyways

i think it could possibly work with the proper stretch. a light stretch won't do it.

I was thinking 225/40's up front, 215/40's in the rear but it's gonna take more work than just that. For reference, these are the 9.5 +35 all around:

Now imagine a little over half an inch of poke up front and in the rear
