O2 Sensor

I need a RH o2 sensor. Autozone only lists 2. "Front manifold" and "rear manifold". Common sense tells me that I need the one labled "rear manifold". Just wondering why they don't list three. The two manifold sensors are the same aren't they? Any one run into this recently? I do need the one labled "rear manifold", right?

Thanks, Zack

There are 3 O2 sensors:

One for each bank of cylinders before the precats and one after the rear/main catalytic. I don't remember which is the right hand one. The length of the wires/connectors are different.

I know which one I'm trying to replace. the one nearest the firewall. Just don't know how autozone has them listed since they only have two. If the two that are nearest the engine are different, I guess that autozone just doesn't carry the one near the cat. I'll figure it out in the morning.

Re: O2 Sensor

How come you need to replace the 'rh o2 sensor?' That to me sounds like the rear heated o2 sensor. If that is correct then both parts at autozone will be incorrect. The correct one is located at the end of the cat.

From all that I've read on this site RH is right hand. The diagram at the link in the above post shows it as the one nearest the firewall. Not the one near the cat.
