1999 SE Cali Spec Exhaust help...

Whats up ya'll,

I just bought a second max (99 SE 5spd KT3) & I would like to install a set of long tube headers & Y-pipe combo on this car. I cannot for the life of me remember if I'm limited on my options because it's a Cali Spec 99 or if the OBX Header / Y-pipe combo will work? Also am I supposed to us the OBX exhaust for a 5th gen on a 4th gen? If anyone has a part number or link for the system I need that would be a huge help. With work & the new born my free time to search the web is minimal...

Which body style is it? the 4th gens stopped being made around 3/99 then the 5th gen was born after that but I think it was a 2010 not a 5th gen 99, dont think that exists

Regardless of header y pipe you get you can have bungs welded in place for the extra o2s... but.otherwise you are semilimited...

Its a 4th gen 1999 body style. But its got the front manifold with the pre cat built into it.

So I can run any 4th gen header / ypipe combo & just weld on bungs? N

This has nothing to do with anything. He stated he has a 99. Stop wasting bandwidth.

To the OP, if you are cali spec (are all 99's cali spec? I think, not 100%). You can have extra 02 bungs welded in. The 5th gen OBX Headers will fit on our cars with slight modification.

Your question was pointless. You know I have OBX headers installed on my car, right?
