odometer motor repair within cluster ?

odometer motor repair within cluster ?

I have 96 maxima...odemeter not working, speedometer okay..

any tips on the repair of motor/gear mechanism that drives the odometer ???

It would be a lot easier to just replace the whole gauge cluster, you get one on classifieds for about $50

+1 op I just bought a new cluster as well cause mine was makeing an annoying ticking...no sense in screwing qith It when you can find em cheap. maybe you'll get lucky and find one for less than 50 like I did. But there are tons for sale on here for 50... You just gotta search the classifieds.

It is probably corroded take it apart and spray some Electrical wire cleaner on the pack of the PCB board should fix that right up.

lol no its not... Its like $50... or more. Junkyards no it is a rare piece and they pull them from the cars before anything.
