Change springs alone or entire suspension?

ok so my springs are completely blown and my car is bouncier than ever lol feels like im in a low rider when i go over speed bumps.. anyways i was wonder if i could just replace the springs instead of the entire thing..the cheapest complete suspension for the front that i found was $500 and i cant really do that right now...could i just buy springs and replace that?

Your springs are probably fine. It's your struts that are most likely shot.

yes, that would be your struts that are blown. But as Chrisman said its struts that are blown not the springs. You would only change your springs if you were planning on dropping the car.

That's just the dust boot. Those tend to go but don't really affect the suspension.

Rockauto has Raybestos quick struts with a mail in rebate. $360 after rebate IIRC, and the professional series is decent stuff. Quick struts include new struts (or shocks, but they don't call them quick shocks for some reason), boots, springs, mounts, etc. Just unbolt, yank, and replace.

I also put my money on struts. I have also though my springs with done and needing replaced but I've got a lot of feedback that those never need replace. I suppose I didn't make them tight enough then
